Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American television, film and stage actor. Her most notable roles include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) as well as True Detective. Elizabeth was born in and brought up in Michigan. In her youth she developed a love for acting. In the years since she's appeared in minor parts in Peter Pan and Aquamarine. Roman Empire, a Netflix original series from in the 2nd season featured her as Cleopatra. Also, she appeared in the cult-classic film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica was selected in the global contest in 2018 to play The role of Talon as the main character of the film The Outpost. Producers received a demo tape that showed her performing and another tape in which she performed MMA. The producers wondered if she would be able to perform swordfighting in the following day, so she sent a video of the sword fight she was doing. Jessica was able to read the script and knew the character would require weapon training. Her first video was recorded session with a professional after reading it. According to Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was astonished by the level of training she received during her initial lesson. Her prior films were in Australia. Outpost Outpost was her first major part in the United States. Jessica is able to fully portray her powerful female character due to her enthusiasm for action, her mixed martial arts abilities and her riding horse, guns and weapon skills as well as her athletic abilities. Jessica trained in mixed combat, boxing and muay Thai in an Australia-based gym. Jake Stormoen, working on Season 4 of the show and was in the process of meeting a dog that wandered around on sets. It was a stray puppy that lived on the location. Jessica fostered the two puppies.
